But I was thinking, if I can load a program from another 600 that is identical into the memory card then install it into the protected PanelView and move these jumpers will this cause the program to load from the card on boot up allowing me to get to the configuration screen? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have never used memory cards and don't own one. No go! Also, inside the case there other jumpers that might let the unit boot from a memory card. After this, I opened the back of the PanelView and moved the protect jumper to program. This did not work, no communication was ever established. After entering every other address (0-255 except for my PC) in RSLinx changing only the last three digits using the standard 255.255.255.0 as a subnet mask. Then, since there was an existing program running I could see an IP address the PanelView was attempting to access.
